Let’s get to know the Verb Pattern in a brief.

While you are starting to learn English, you must face many many materials, such as Grammatical rules, Vocabularies, Pronunciations, etc. And, part of speech is one of the hearts of English. If you need to understand English, you need to know the vocabularies at first after that you need to focus on each part of them.

If we focus on ‘Verb’ in the speech, we will found that there have many kinds of a verb formed. And, how could you know what an exactly means when you use in a different pattern? Here! a guidance calling ‘Verb Pattern’.

So you know? The verb that we usually use it every day have pattern its own. Moreover, some of them can use in several patterns which result in diverse meanings. For example, the verb ‘to try’ can be used in 2 different ways, such as

  • ‘try to do’ means (work hard) use effort to do it which you already know the end result if it has done.
    I try to do this homework even it’s very hard.
    We try to find a way to go back camp while we get lost in the forest.
  • ‘try doing’ means (experiment) use effort to do it which you don’t know the end result if it has done.
    I try fitting this shirt perhaps it suits me.
    We try cooking by no use of vegetable oil to fry a french fried. we use butter instead and it works.

To summarize, the blueprint word has its own different meaning. Thus, you should check it what it really meaning or read more book to catch it means. With a hope, you will find the right way to using it.
